Welcome to the Hawthorn Institute’s web site.  The Institute was created to help promote effective leadership in public policy.  Leadership requires striking a balance between knowledge, trust and power.  Our leadership triad of training and consulting services are focused on helping public, private and not-for-profit agencies develop greater knowledge, enhance trust and increase power to meet the needs of your clients.  

 

Since our creation, we have taken on significant roles in grants, performance based budgeting, distance learning and strategic planning.  The Institute staff consists of experienced professionals and experts.  We are always looking for retired managers/executives interested in temporary consulting opportunities to add to our list of consultants, trainers and other experts.  Whatever your needs, we have staff or a business consortium to meet your needs.
