Thanks for checking out our webiste to learn more about the Hawthorn Institute.  As the Institute's Executive Director, I am personally responsible for the work product our company provides.  It is our committment to ensure your company's needs are clearly defined and that our services meet those needs.   I believe too many times, agencies solve the wrong problems precisely.  That's why I am committed to making sure we assess every opportunity to work with others and align our services and strategies appropriately.

At times, due to either resource or time constraints, we may not be the best company for your needs.  If we can't assist you, we will attempt to refer you to the best available options.  The reason our company has been successful is because we believe in providing quality services and products.

I respectfuly ask for the opportunity to earn your business.  Thanks for considering the Hawthorn Institute for your consulting and training needs.

Our Conference & Training History

In 2001, we open our doors by providing a criminal justice grants summit in Missouri.  Before long, we were partnering nationally with the Performance Institute, developing curriculum and teaching all over the country on  criminal justice, homeland security and other grant related programs.  In 2004 we created the first Missouri State Grants Summit.  Again, we partnered with the Peformance Institute and carried the state grants summit concept to California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, New York, Ohio and Washington State.  In 2006, we ended our partnership with the Performance Institute.

Meanwhile, in Missouri, we worked to create the Governmental Affairs and Advocacy Summit, the Show-Me the Measures Summit, Advanced Grantsmanship and a variety of other programs.

In 2008, we produced and presented the National Summit on Grants in Courts to a sold out crowd in Washington D.C.

Stay tuned!  2010 will bring many more state and national opportunities for us to share.
